Bill Abbott served in the U.S. Army as a. N.B.C. (Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical) Specialist in the Chemical Corp. Leveraging his experience with fine-tooled machinery and manufacturing, he transitioned into cannabis and hemp, building and engineering from conception to reality the first mobile extraction for hemp and cannabis in the country.
Bill has advised and led the development of dozens of manufacturing operations in the hemp space in the U.S. and abroad. He has developed some of the largest high flow extraction machines to date. He was also the first to receive and organic certification from the USDA for organic processing and handling.
His Level 2 Terpener certification gives him the ability to judge floral material (like a wine sommelier) and he offers his expert opinions and judgments at cups nationwide. He is a speaker and a panel member at the largest hemp and cannabis events from supply chains to extraction methodologies in depth about market trends, FDA and the regulations forthcoming via regulation of the hemp industry.
Bill’s family has been involved in the research and development of cannabinoids as medication since the 1900s, specifically the writing of ‘Sir Oslers Book of Modern Medicine” where his grandfather studied the effect of cannabinoids on the treatment of migraine headaches.
